About Us

Welcome to The Daily ADHD 🎉

We’re Alex (she/her) and Summer (they/them)—partners in life, partners in chaos, and proud owners of two very different ADHD brains. One thrives on structure, the other thrives on spontaneity, and together we somehow make it work (most days). This blog is where we share stories, tips, and plenty of real talk about living with ADHD—equal parts helpful, messy, and hilarious.

Our Mission

ADHD isn’t a one-size-fits-all deal. What saves the day for Summer might not even register for Alex, and vice versa. That’s why we’re here: to bust myths, swap hacks, and shine a light on the many ways ADHD shows up. Everything we share comes straight from lived experience, a little research, and a lot of trial-and-error.

The Dynamic Duo

We’re not just married—we’re wired differently in the best way. Summer’s ADHD and Alex’s ADHD couldn’t be more opposite, but those differences keep us balanced. Where one spirals, the other steadies. Where one forgets, the other remembers (most of the time). Together, we’re proof that two brains really are better than one.

Adventures in Life and Love

Our story started unexpectedly and turned into a mashup of travel, hobbies, and a whole lot of trial runs. Hiking, camping, rock climbing, acro yoga, DIY projects—you name it, we’ve probably tried it. From big adventures abroad to quiet moments in therapy sessions, every step has taught us something about resilience, growth, and laughing through the chaos.

Living with Purpose

Life with ADHD is rarely calm, but it’s never boring. One day we’re knee-deep in a DIY project, the next we’re planning a trip with way too many spreadsheets, juggling financial or business puzzles, or pulling weeds in our garden oasis. Whatever it is, we try to turn the whirlwind into something meaningful—and maybe even fun.

Words of Wisdom

If you take anything from our story, let it be this: ADHD isn’t a flaw to “fix.” It’s a superpower waiting for you to figure out the user manual. Experiment, embrace your quirks, lean on people who lift you up, and don’t be afraid to build a life that feels good for you (not for anyone else).
